Labor Day Parade and Festival near Columbia South Carolina

Looking for a Labor Day Weekend parade? Chapin is just a short drive away from Columbia and they will be celebrating Labor Day all weekend long with a spectacular parade and more. Kick off Labor Day Weekend with the Crooked 5K for Meals on Wheels at Crooked Creek Park. Registration is at 7AM and the race begins at 8AM. Call 803-345-6181 for details. On Saturday, September 2nd, there will be a free concert with free food at Chapin Presbyterian Church from 4PM to 6PM. Live music will be provided by Willie Wells and the Blue Ridge Mountain Grass and The Hinson Girls. On Labor Day, guests will enjoy a big parade, acclaimed one of the finest in South Carolina. The parade lines up beginning at 8AM at the GIS lot on Chapin Road. Trophies will be awarded for the best floats.
