Sandhill Fall Festival

Scarecrows in the Garden Exhibit

Stroll through the historic Hampton-Preston grounds and garden to view dozens of uniquely crafted ghoulish, historical, and colorful scarecrows. Keep an eye out for 'Sneaky Steve' who is hiding somehwere on teh grounds but moves to a new location each week.

Historic Haunting: Special Cemetery Tour

Lexington County Museum will be taken over by spirits at this annual Halloween event. Ghoulish guides will lead visitors on a spooky journey of the museum property, telling stories of strange and unusual events in Lexington County's Colonial, antebellum and Civil War history. Boo at the Zoo

Riverbanks Zoo and Garden presents a family friendly Halloween event. Boo at the Zoo features the Trick-Or-Treat trail, Mummy's Eeky Freaky Dance Party, Moonlight Magic with Ray, a Haunted Carousel, a Marshmallow Roast, a Nightly Costume Parade and more. The South Carolina Gamecocks won their 13th straight season opener on Thursday, August 30, 2012 with a 17-13 victory over Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks were trailing 13-10 in the beginning of the 4th quarter, but Lattimore scored the game winning touchdown with 11 minutes and 25 seconds remaining in the game.
