Rosewood Crawfish Festival

For the 9th year, the Greater Rosewood Merchants Association is gearing up to bring some infamous Creole cuisine to the Midlands! Lovers of all things Creole and Cajun are invited to Rosewood Drive to take part in one of the city’s favorite celebrations, featuring over 10,000 pounds of fresh Louisiana grown crawfish. 5th Annual Crawdaddy 5K Run Dash
May 3, 2014
Kick-off your visit to the Rosewood Crawfish Festival at the 5th Annual Crawdaddy 5K. Run with 1,000 other Cajuns-at-heart through Columbia’s Rosewood neighborhood. Registration includes a signature race t-shirt, delicious post-race Cajun fare and free entry to the Rosewood Crawfish Festival. Awards will begin at 10:30AM. SC Tour de Cure

The American Diabetes Association’s 2014 SC Tour de Cure is pleased to announce we will be riding from downtown Columbia at the historic Robert Mills House and Hampton-Preston Mansion on Saturday, May 3, 2014.  Please come enjoy this beautiful historic venue and springtime ride around the Columbia area. All riders will enjoy a safe and well-marked route, superior support and gear, medical support, and outstanding volunteer support. Fight For Air Climb
May 31, 2014
Fight for Air Climbs are the American Lung Association’s most unique fundraisers. Climbs take place in prominent skyscrapers, stadiums or arenas and involve walking, running or racing up hundreds of steps. Sometimes called a "vertical road race", teams and individual participants can use the event as a fitness target, as a race, or as a great way to be active and meet new friends.
