2012 CAPS Soccer Clinic

Children's Chance is a nonprofit organization established in 1996 to assist children with cancer and their families in South Carolina with non medical needs. They are the only statewide organization that offers programs that focus completely on non medical assistance for the entire family during a child's cancer treatment and recovery, making them a unique organization. Coming up this February 2012, we have the opportunity to help out and support these families in need while participating in an exciting special event taking place right here in Columbia, South Carolina. CAPS Soccer Clinic is hosted by the YMCA Columbia United and the USC Men's Soccer Team and Coaches. This special soccer clinic is designed for both children and their parents! Participants have the chance to learn soccer from the University of South Carolina Varsity Team and Coaches. Proceeds from this event benefit Children's Chance. The cost is only $35.00 per child and additional siblings can participate for only $25.00 each.

This spectacular event is fun for the entire family and it benefits a really great cause. Keep an eye out for Zig the Pig at this special event! Zig the Pig is the lovable Zebra striped Pig who serves as the ambassador for Children's Chance. Zig is an advocate for children with cancer and visits schools, businesses, and community events to raise awareness and funds to help his kids.
