Adult polar bears are asked to make a $10 donation to Children's Charities of the Midlands before taking the plunge. Polar bears younger than 18 are just $5 per participant. To start off the year, we would like to share information about a special event coming up this month in Columbia, SC. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus will be performing for five days in Columbia, South Carolina in January 2012!

These magnificent performances will entertain audiences of all ages! The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey website goes into full detail about the Fully Charged Tour. Here are a few examples of the spectacular stunts you can expect to see during their shows here in Columbia:

Tabayara is an animal trainer whose rare ability to communicate with animals allows him to ride rearing stallions at a fully charged gallop. He will also orchestrate majestic Asian Elephants in a symphony of dance. If that is not entertaining enough, Tabayara stands inside a cage with twelve ferocious tigers.

The Fernandez Brothers are a fearless group that perform daring feats of athleticism on the Twin Turbines of Steel. Watch as they perform extreme jumps and twists inside the moving wheels. Guillermo will perform a three hundred sixty degree flying forward somersault, three stories in the air. This difficult feat is so challenging that it has only been attempted by one other individual in the 141 - year history of Ringling Brothers.

The celebration will continue as Brian Miser, also known as The Human Fuse, takes the stage. He sets the arena sky ablaze as he rockets through the air from his self-made human crossbow!
