The Indie Grits Festival is a juried film festival that was designed to empower all levels of Southern filmmakers with an independent mentality and far-reaching artistic scope. The Indie Grits Festival will be from April 19-29, 2012.

The Big Mo visitors can choose from 3 double features every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during Spring, Summer, and Fall months! Movies start at dusk and the gates open 1.5 to 2 hours before show time. The best part? Visitors get to watch two movies for the price of one. Guests are invited to sit in their vehicles, or bring chairs and sit outside of their vehicle. Just tune your radio to the appropriate station for clear stereo sound right from your vehicle. Movies are just $7.00 for adults (12 and over) and $4.00 for kids (4-11 years old). Tickets are FREE for kids 3 and under.
In addition to this one of a kind movie experience, visitors will enjoy the full service concession stand that offers delicious snacks such as pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage dogs, corn dogs, BBQ sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, ice cream, soft drinks, and more. Bringing the entire family along? There is a special play area for kids and trivia contests during intermission that give visitors the chance to win free food and other valuable prizes.
